Located in the former Pyne’s General Store, The Palisades Restaurant offers contemporary cuisine in a unique countryside setting, warm hospitality and unparalleled service in an historic landmark building. Next Door Bake Shop
Don’t underestimate this cozy coffee shop. Not only is the perfect place to catch up on work or meet a friend for a hot drink, but they serve some of the most tasty breakfast options in Blacksburg. They also served many Thai inspired paninis and bubble tea. Some of our favorite items from them include their Bangkok Breakfast Sandwich and Apple Mayo Panini.

Red Rooster is a Virginia-based coffee company roasting only the highest quality beans from around the world. Located in Floyd County, the Red Rooster Coffee Shop is home to the Virginia Coffee company. Accompanying the coffee is a long list of bagels, pastries, and other bakery items, making it the perfect stop and go cafe for coffee lovers.
Mockingbird Cafe
Locally owned and operated, this coffee shop and bakery has a long list of pastries that will be sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. On top of that their menu items include French Toast Strata, Greek Breakfast Sandwich, Cinnamon Rolls, and more. They also offer a unique large venue space that is available to be rented. They additionally provide catering for this room or allow you to bring your food.
